How to check that your agent is registered
Only EARB-registered estate agents with a current Annual Practising Certificate may let or sell property for others.

The Estate Agents Registration Board (EARB) regulates estate agency in Kenya. Practising without registration is illegal.
- Ask for the agent's Registration Certificate and current Annual Practising Certificate.
- Check the agent's name against the EARB's gazetted list.
- Pay deposits only into a company client account, never to a personal number.
